Future Building Construction

November, 2011 — Pecos Valley Medical Center (PVMC) is completing plans and expects to go out to bid in early January, 2012 for its new medical facility.  The 6,500 sq. ft. medical clinic represents Phase 1 of the two-phase project totaling 18,000 sq. ft. and will be built on property owned by the clinic and located just east of the current facility.

A USDA–Rural Development loan for $3 million will fund Phase 1, but the Board and staff are committed to raising as much money as possible to offset that loan which will have to be repaid with interest over forty years.  So, contact us if you want more information or please just “Donate Now”!!!

Phase 1 will allow for 10 exam rooms, 2 treatment bays, space for diabetes and behavioral health care coordination, and a welcoming main lobby. The pharmacy and x-ray rooms will remain in the current building until Phase 2 and, although that will create a slight inconvenience for some patients, staff will do their best to accommodate as much as possible. Click here to view the site plan showing the proposed footprint for Phase 1 and Phase 2.

Watch this space for updated information and progress over the next two years!!!
